Check the Ambient Light Sensor
Move the brightness slider from the highest setting to the lowest setting. Confirm whether the actual screen brightness changes.
Force restart the phone, then test the brightness again.
If the problem remains, power off the phone, disconnect the battery, and remove the screen.
Inspect the original ambient light sensor transferred from the original screen:
Confirm that the sensor is installed in the correct position.
Confirm that its connector is properly connected.
Inspect the sensor cable for bends, tears, or other visible damage.
Confirm that the sensor surface is not covered by adhesive, debris, or other material.
Reinstall the screen, reconnect the battery, power on the phone, and test the brightness again.
Brightness Works Normally
Return to Function Tests and repeat every test before applying adhesive or sealing the screen.

Clean the Camera Opening
Clean the outside surface of the screen around the front camera, then test the camera again.
If the image is still blurry or blocked, power off the phone, disconnect the battery, and remove the screen.
Inspect the camera opening on the inside of the screen for dust, adhesive, or other foreign material.
Carefully remove any visible debris.
Lightly moisten a clean cotton swab with a small amount of 90% or higher isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the camera opening.
Use a clean manual air blower to dry the camera opening, then wait until the alcohol has completely evaporated.
Reinstall the screen, reconnect the battery, power on the phone, and test the front camera again.
Camera Image Is Clear
Return to Function Tests and repeat every test before applying adhesive or sealing the screen.
Camera Image Is Still Blurry or Blocked
Do not repeat the disassembly process or seal the screen.

Check the Original Front Sensor Assembly
Restart the phone and enter the passcode once. Then test Face ID again.
Remove any case or screen protector that may cover the front sensor area. Clean the outside surface around the front sensors and test again.
If Face ID still does not work, power off the phone, disconnect the battery, and remove the screen.
Inspect the original front sensor assembly transferred from the original screen:
Confirm that the complete sensor assembly and its bracket are installed in the correct position.
Confirm that the front sensor connector is properly connected.
Inspect the sensor flex cable for bends, tears, or other visible damage.
Confirm that the sensor openings are not covered by adhesive, dust, or other foreign material.
Do not separate, replace, or attempt to repair the individual components in the original front sensor assembly.
Reinstall the screen, reconnect the battery, power on the phone, and enter the passcode once.
Test Face ID again.
Face ID Works Normally
Return to Function Tests and repeat every test before applying adhesive or sealing the screen.
Face ID Still Does Not Work
Do not repeat the disassembly process or seal the screen.

First check whether the phone responds
Perform a forced restart: quickly press and release Volume Up, quickly press and release Volume Down, then hold the Side button. Keep holding until the Apple logo appears or you confirm the phone remains unresponsive.
Phone vibrates or responds
The phone is running, but the screen remains black. Continue with the screen-connection checks.
Phone does not respond
Do not repeatedly disconnect parts or seal the screen.

Check the battery connection
Charge the phone for 15 minutes.
Perform a force restart.
Check whether the phone vibrates, makes a sound, or the screen lights up or displays an image.
If the phone responds but the screen remains blank, continue to the Phone Responds troubleshooting flow.
If the phone shows no response, open the phone.
Disconnect the battery first. Check that the battery connector is correctly aligned and free from debris or damage, then reconnect it securely.
Perform another force restart.
Phone Responds but the Screen Is Blank
The phone is running. Continue with the screen-connection checks.
Phone Still Does Not Respond
Stop the installation and do not seal the screen.

Check what is preventing the screen from fitting
Do not force or press the screen into place.
Check that the flex cables lie flat and are not trapped beneath the screen or other components.
Check that the connector covers, screws, and other internal components are installed in the correct positions and are not protruding against the screen.
Inspect the screen clips and the phone frame slots for debris, bending, or damage.
Confirm that the old screen bezel has been completely removed from the phone. The replacement screen already includes its own bezel.
Check the edges of the phone frame and remove any remaining adhesive.
Reposition the screen and check whether it fits naturally into the frame.
